| Each workshop is approximately 40 minutes and will introduce your students to 6 different species of Turtles and Tortoises from around the world including:
Students will get to hold real turtle shells and learn and ask questions about how and where turtles live. Teacher's Guides and Activity sheets are included for each grade level. |

| Grades PK-1 Students in Grades PK-1 will learn where each turtle lives, what they eat, and the differences between each species. They will also hear the amazing TRUE STORY of OWEN and MEZEE, a baby hippopotamus that adopted a 130 Year Old tortoise as its mother after the 2004 tsunamis. |
The Turtle Show is available for Single Classroom Sessions, Half Day Sessions and
Full Day Sessions. If multiple Sessions are required we request a single area that we
can set up in so that we do not have to move the turtles and equipment throughout the
day from class to class. Generally a classroom, Gym Area, Stage, or corner of a school
library will work fine. Each Session should have no more than 50 students to ensure
that all students can see and get a chance to ask questions. We bring all the required
tables and equipment necessary but do require one working electrical outlet within 10
Feet of the Performance Area.

| Grades 2-3 Students in Grades 2-3 will learn additional information about turtles and tortoises including how they hibernate, what cold-blooded means, and how we can all help keep turtles and tortoises from becoming extinct. |
| Grades 4-6 Students in Grades 4-6 will learn additional information about Laws that have been passed to protect both Turtles and the Public. We also encourage them to ask questions and do their part to help protect turtles and tortoises from becoming extinct. |
