Q: How many turtles do you bring with you?
A: We generally bring 4-5 different species of turtles with us. A lot of factors go into
making this decision including the outside climate, travel time, number of
performances we have both that day and week and our turtles health.
Q: I thought that turtles were illegal in NJ?
A: It is not illegal to have turtles as pets or for educational purposes in New Jersey.
All of our turtles were legally adopted and are registered with the NJ Department of
Environmental Protection Division of Fish & Wildlife.
Q: Do you let the children touch, pet, or handle the turtles?
A: Due to the fact that both children and turtles can carry different bacteria and
diseases we do not let them touch, pet, or handle our turtles. We want to make sure
that both your children and our turtles have a fun and safe time. We do bring several
"real" turtle shells that we let the children hold and touch.
